Health and safety
We prioritize user-friendliness and safety in all of our equipment. Our tools are designed with ergonomic features and controls for sound, vibrations, and dust, all in compliance with local safety regulations. We believe in personal safety, which is why our power tools are considered safer than conventional grit blasting methods.
Our equipment has a low risk of injury to the operator due to the absence of high-pressure usage, and our belts won’t cut through safety boots or ropes. Our products also have low noise and vibration levels and are easy to operate, allowing for the use of PPE such as safety glasses.

At MontiPower®, we believe in supporting our community by providing opportunities for individuals to gain experience in the surface treatment industry. We offer programs for secondary school and university students to learn the trade and gain hands-on experience. Additionally, we are committed to advancing technology and promoting sustainable practices, in line with SDG Goal 9.
We are proud to support aero-blasting research at Saxion University through the Tech for Future program, which aims to develop sustainable and innovative solutions for the future. Beyond our commitment to education and technology, MontiPower® also support initiatives for local youth.

Nature
At MontiPower®, we understand the importance of protecting nature, which is why we offer surface preparation solutions that are not only effective but also environmentally responsible. Our Bristle Blaster® and MBX® methods for surface preparation involve removing rust without loose abrasives, which minimizes waste and eliminates the risk of loose abrasives harming nature.
In addition, our hand-held high impact, semi-automatic or automatic Bristle Blasting tools are designed with precision and care, ensuring that the job is done right without causing any damage to the environment. Our ultimate goal is to develop closed cycle solutions that eliminate the possibility of spilling anything harmful to nature.
Pollution
MontiPower® is committed to achieving SDG goal 13: Climate Action. We actively works towards reducing its carbon footprint and promoting sustainable practices. In 2020 we installed solar panels on our roof. In 2022, these panels generated approximately 155 MWh of energy, reducing carbon emissions.
In addition, we aim to return excess energy to the grid. We support sustainable transportation with 25% of its vehicle fleet being electric and have charging points available.
Circularity
We are committed to implementing circularity and sustainable practices in our operations. Our circularity program, Monti League, allows clients to return used belts in exchange for credits that can be used to purchase new belts. We also take back tools for repair/refurbishment.
All primary materials used in production include steel wire, cloth, polyamide backing, threading, and carton, are recyclable. Furthermore, MontiPower® is working to ensure that these materials are sustainably-sourced.
MontiPower® is also Greendot certified for the correct treatment of waste packaging. These efforts reflect our dedication to promoting sustainable consumption and production, in alignment with SDG Goal 12. In addition, we are WEEE-registered for electric tools in the EU, demonstrating our commitment to responsible and sustainable disposal of electronic waste.

This philosophy is not just limited to our operations and work site, but also extends to the manufacturing of our brushes. Our abrasive brushes are produced in closed cycle work cells, where every step is meticulously controlled to ensure the highest standards of quality. Each belt is individually checked at every stage of the production process, leaving no room for error.

There are two types of pipe corrosion: internal (causing approximately 12% of leakage and connection damage incidents) and external (accounting for about 8% of pipe breakage incidents).
